I am not a quitter. I am a rule breaker. I tried doing Project 365 this year. I made it 7 months before falling so behind I couldn't recoup. Not giving up...just losing the spirit. If I am 3 weeks behind, and only have 7 new photos on my camera, then I've sort of lost the point, right? I got behind this summer because I was insanely busy with design work and up to my chin in wedding plans.
I decided to start over with our first day of marriage and figured I would document a year in the life of the Gardners. I made it 2 months before the next big thing knocked me on my butt. We had another life change (again, a good one). It is just extra difficult when you are adjusting to a new circumstance to keep up with something like P365. This summer it was the wedding that threw me off course, this fall it has been me accepting a new job.
I love my new job so far...it really was a wonderful thing for me and for us as a family, but it is an adjustment nonetheless. I'm in my 3rd week of working at Hewlett Packard. I'm training for 2 more months and I'm going to be working in advanced technical support. It's evening shift, which is fun but a bit of a juggling act for my family. We're managing well, and I'd say almost thriving at this point. We have all adapted quite well! It doesn't change the fact that I haven't picked up my camera in 2 weeks.
So...where do I go from here? Well I'm not quitting Project 365; I refuse. I am just going to share with you some of my favorite photos from the last month and then pick right back up where I left off. I may not post a photo every day, and I'm ok with that. I hope you are too!
Over the next few days I'll edit and post some of my favorite photos from the last month, and then go from there! =)
